After reading The Star, I came up with a few questions, How long is the current lifespan? What conclusions does the Captain come to, concerning the star's age? What does it mean?

I really like this book, I'm extremely interested to learn how it, as well as the series turns out. A man, once at war with the Bajorans, is now the biggest spiritual leader, for a once, and I predict a future, false set of gods. I can't wait to find out what happens, next!
